The stock Qualifier's are incredible tires to have on a stock bike, but I will say that they are not the same as regular off-the-shelf Qualifiers. In fact, the stock tires that came on the 06 600RR is the same tire as the 07 models, but now they're just called Qualifier's. But they're still good tires. The off-the-shelf Qualifier's are a bit stickier and more responsive.

Took me a while to get use to the 07, especially coming from an 87. I know I had a few times where I wasnt guiding the bike as well as I could have, especially when I was downshifting coming to a stop. I assume you have downshifted too hard once too and had the back tire light up and get squirrly too?

my 07 came with qualifiers. i am now on my 3rd rear. 1st got a nail in it, but the 2nd went down to the cords. i feel like it didn't last long though. only about 3500-4000mi. anyway, the tire handles great. i've had it on edge, scraping foot pegs, and it responded well.

the only times i locked up were when i braked too hard with the rear and when I downshifted to 1st to hard.
