Default Need help with tank overflow line

I'm putting back together an 03 600RR that someone else took apart and I don't have the overflow line for the gas tank. I should be able to just go to the dealer and order one, but there are two lines that come off the bottom of the tank and the schematic only lists one so they don't know if the one in the schematicis the right one. Theoverflow and the vent lineare two different sizes, so if its wrong, I'm out $11 and a week of waiting. They don't have any generic hose that is large enough. Can anyone confirm that part #3846813-001 (#34,"Tube, drain"on the tank diagram) is the tank overflow and not the vent line?

They are both the same size hose. I checked here http://www.hondaparts-direct.com/fic...ion_detail.asp they call it bulk hose, its runs about $8.

I went to the site you suggested, it had the same Fuel Tank diagram as bikebandit where I was looking and the dealer's system. At least it lists the size of the line (I think) 8x1000, which I think must be 8mm x 1000mm. I will measure to see if the smaller one or larger one is 8mm, if so that would help. They are definitely two different size lines. I will post a pic tonight. Thanks for your help.

Just go down to any autoparts store and get yourself the proper size fuel line. That's all it is.

Hmmm, thats wierd. I just worked on my air box the other day and rerouted both my hoses and they were deffinatley the same size hose. Guess thery're different between 03 and 05. I sure its not really that important as long as they fit snug and aren't kinked, no preasure involved. I'd do what fox said take it down to the auto parts store and try to match em up the best you can.
