I tried to teach you about countersteering, no offense but I think if you were comfortable with this technique then this would not have happened. Sorry about your loss! Were you wearing gear, if not did you get a road rash, break anything etc....

no major gear, i had an icon stunt vest on and my helmet.. scrapes and bruises, lower ribs hurt like hell, but nothing to cry about.. i just want my bike fixed. help?

I would probably just bite the bullet and pay someone to fix it the correct way!

Yes, those are the air ducts. cheap to buy and do NOT come with the upper fairings. you must order those separately. They are a integral part of the intake system. If you want to replace them with something that makes a little more power (and make the intake sound more throaty) change them out with the OPP Racing Carbon Fiber intakes ducts. they make tough fiberglass fairings as well, pretty cheap, and strong? WHOA. are they ever. Def. worth it.

Do yourself a favor and keep all you old parts till the bike is totally fixed. The reason being, when you order new parts, fairings and such, they come without any grommets/clips/fasteners. Then you'll be ordering them as well and they add up, trust me. Wow it's done, my first post/reply. Soon I plan to documenting my easy, free and awesome DIY fender eliminator for all ya's.
