sorry to say but i got ran off the road earlier yesterday. the bike and i jumped a curb and a pole stopped us. somehow the pole managed to fit in between the front fender and under the upper fairing. the upper fairing is cracked and busted and so is the wheel fender. if i were to buy a new upper fairing (there is a peice that sits directly under the lights that seems attached to the fairing), would that under peice come with a new fairing or no? would 05 parts fit, if i have an 06? thanks in advance for the help.

yeah i own an 06, but im just curious about that under fairing peice.. i havent seen it on some fairings for sale on ebay.

 

underfairing? You mean mid fairings or the lower fairings or ???

its on the upperfairing, there is a black peice that seems like its connected to it.. it sits right there under the head lights. it broke off when i hit the pole.

 

i believe your talking about the air duct for the intake. make sure your forks arent bent also. sounds like your alright eh? if so, thats good to hear!!

 

eh in my belief im better than the bike, but eh cracked ribs > bike hmm.. i did flip before hitting the pole myself though, 45 mph is not as slow as i thought =\
any how im not sure what peice that is, if it is the air duct does it come with a new fairing?

 

im not a %100 sure but i dont believe it comes with it, i thought i seen someone on here selling one for cheap..
