I have seen people around here with the hand held Garmen GPS, and they have a mount on their bars where they can place it.

Ask "TheX" - he had a nice setup on his 600RR

Also, I highly suggest Mio c310 GPS unit (same one as in the photo above) because:

1. it is one o the cheapest (under $200)
2. Has been accurate for me throughout Illinois, Indiana, N & S Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona (and once on a big lake in florida!)
3. Updated maps are only $15, not $100+ (Garmin)
4. My favorite reason, it runs on windows CE and is "hackable" so it is basically a small computer/palm pilot and can play music and movies, plus you can download different interfaces so it is like having your choice of hundreds of GPS's.

yea ive been wanting to look into a gps ever since Daytona Bike Week. ii took the scenic, non-highway route, and got caught up with the view and the enormous amounts of riders on the road that at times ii was like "wait, did ii past my turn?". and especially on the way back(in the dark). fun but not too cool...ii cudnt see **** and had no idea where ii was...BUT

No offense to anyone but why would you want to have a GPS on a BIKE???????? 1)can't mess with it while riding 2) Can't protect it from Rain 3) it's ugly on bikes period.....But that's my opinion. .
