Default My Work In Progress...

So I have been working like mad since mid-september on my bike. I live in Long Island, and we have a pretty long off season here, with lots of rain, sand on the roads, and other types of nice-riding-day obstacles. The first picture is what is looks like now, for the most part. What I have done, or am in the process of doing is the following. I have a large box of parts sitting in my garage, all waiting to go on, or have gone on recently.

1) puig black windscreen (with custom vinyl)
2) stainless steel brake lines (front and rear)
3) shorty clutch lever
4) polished the lip of my wheels (see below)
4a) having wheel centers powder coated to match blue of bike
5) pilot powers ct2's
6) color matched hugger
7) CF chain guard
8) -1/+1 vortex sprockets
9) BMC race filter
10) yosh rs-5 carbon slip on
11) custom built integrated tail light
12) vortex crash kit (sliders, spools, bar ends)
13) upgraded tire valves
14) magnetic oil drain plug
15) color match rear seat cowl honda
16) just ordered that new tripage FE (inspired by red600rr, thanks!)
17) hotbodies flush-mount signals (which i do not recommend, you cant see them at all)
18) icon magnetic tank bag for extended summer cruizin'
19) i think there is more, but i cant remember because i am not near my bike right now

Check out the pictures below and let me know what you guys think.... I will have pictures up as soon as possible, I should have it all done and back together by the end of the month!!!

Sounds like you're gonna be a busy *** dude, but it's gonna be worth it in the end.

Like the choice of bike though. I saw the Graffiti for the first time yesterday, and I wasn't impressed. It looks a tad bit tacky to me, so I'd have to say your color scheme is my favorite for the newer models.

I agree with you, although I cant really knock it, cause its whats under the plastics that count (my cheezy line of the day). I think its a little ghetto-fab to be honest, im suprised the wheels didnt come polished on it. I do however like the black hardware, I wish mine came like that.

Funny story I went in for the white one, and came out with the blue one. I though the white one was a little too susceptible to road shrapnel damage, and was somewhat fem. Fate took a good hold on me though, I got what was right. Where you ride outta shortbus?

hey vert - i do wheel repair with paint and polish for a living and the only problem with the polish on your wheels is that is that "old skool" polish look - like the american racing rims on an old camaro or something - so its a lot of up keep and needs attention - if you have the money you should take them for a shop and have them done on a lathe and them re-clear coated.

- also, that yosh pipe looks great - i am planning on doing the same thing to my bike tomorrow - what do you guys thing about tugging down on the whole assembly to lower the slip on to make more room for the integrated taillight?
