This is my '94 CBR F2 Streetfighter Project (My first bike )
What i've done so far since I bought it a month ago:
It's come a long way already with these small changes, but still has a way to go. Just looking for some feedback on what you guys think of it so far, Thanks
What i've done so far since I bought it a month ago:
- Removed front end
- Mounted Fog light style driving lights
- Installed New circular key ignition ( Old one was tapped out with a screwdriver)
- Painted Tank gloss black (was orange when i got it) and yes i know its horribly dented (looking for a new one now for a reasonable price)
- Installed gas cap (didnt have one when I bought it)
- mounted digital speedo/ GPS (still looking for an actual speedo with rpm's ect.)

No idea about the miles, gauge cluster was broken. I bought it for $800, reasonable for the condition I bought it in:
When I bought it: No fairings, Gauge cluster w/ speedo broken, Ignition was tapped out with a screwdriver (the kid literally handed me a screwdriver when i bought it), No gas cap on the tank, tail light taped on w/ no running tail light (only lit when i hit the rear brake), gas tank was orange with random black sprayed on (he started to paint it but gave up i guess). Sooo considering, $800 was all i was going to give him.
I've thought about making some kind of front fairing, I've seen people with the aribis* headlight deal. But honestly don't really like the look of them. I kinda like the naked look, plus my lights don't stick out but about 1/2 inch past the forks, so it's not that big of i deal. And i think it makes it a little different from every other bike

Dude. Your chain. It's... unhappy. If I catch you rolling through my hood I'll be chasing you with a can of WD-40 and a brass bristle brush. That's how you'll know it's me.
I was all excited when you said you took off the front end! I had my keys in my hand and everything to drive off and buy it off you, but... It didn't come with any, I guess. What do you mean by "taking off" the front end? Like windscreen / headlight hangar and stuff?
I have an extra Ross White-scheme gas tank with a raging dent in the side I think I may be able to fix. If I get it to look reasonable I'll let you know. It's currently serving as my actual tank while I fix up my super nice one for the final build. Otherwise, I had great success tack-welding some ground-off nails in the dent on my tank and popping the dent out with a roofing hammer. You might see if you can swing that trick on yours.
