Default My new 07 cbr600 !!

Hey guys, just bought this 07 cbr600rr and love it ! 14k miles on the baby

Full yoshi exhaust, power commander, led headlights...

Only a few complaints... normal beam light goes out every now and then but comes back on when the bike is started again...

Also the brake lights/ rearturn signals are none existant so i ordered an led light bar which ill need some help wiring up

Rattling noise under 5k rpm... ive read up people have this issue

Also FI light is on all the time but i was told its because of the full yoshi exhaust...

thanks for checking it out !

Good looking bike. Congrats on the purchase. I believe that the FI light is due to the full system. By going with a full system you get rid of the servo and the O2 sensor and the ECU doesn't like it. Do a search on the internet and you should find a how to on how to kill the FI light with a full system. Check the wiring for the headlights. I have a feeling that when the PO wired up the led's they hacked up the wiring causing a bad connection which is causing it to go in and out. When you say the brake/turn signals are non existent, you mean they are physically there but very hard to see? If that is the case it is probably because the exhaust is covering up the integrated tail light. There is how to on the internet on how to lower the exhaust can just a tad to make the IT more visible so you don't have to buy and wire up a new light bar. As for the rattle I'm not to sure about. My 07 RR has a rattle at start up, almost like it is coming from the clutch but it seems to run okay so I'm not too worried about that. Good luck and let us know if you need anything else. The people on this forum are very cool and try to help out when they can.

hey congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum! you should look into getting an integrated tail light from tripageLED (CBR 600RR 2007-2011) they pretty sick! i bet the full system sounds amazing.

also if you get a chance stop by the ride of the month thread and give a fellow 600RR rider a vote!

Nice bike. I got a 2011 CBR600 a few days ago from a salvaged auction. After I get the rear end fixed up, it will look like new again. But how much did you pay for this one?

I paid 5500 for it and im happy with the price i thought it was fair...

also, whats the best way about making these levers black... im too broke to afford the black shorty levers that i want, so in the mean time... should i just take em off and spray paint them?

Don't spray paint them, it'll just wear off and look worse. I don't think there's really anything you can do to the stock levers that will last. If you're interested I know where you can get a pair of black shorty levers for about $44. PM me if you want a set.

The FI light is most likely due to the full system you have (unless there's another issue). You can buy the part to fix this or there is a DIY on 600rr.net. But that's a nice looking bike!
