Default Move from F4 to 600RR.....what do I need to know?

Going to look at an 03 600rr this weekend. If I can score it...planning to upgrade to that...from my 2000 f4! This will be my first fuel injected bike...(along with a few other obvious changes, of course)...is there anything I need to know before "taking the plunge?" LOL!! Do the 600RR's still have the notorious CCT issues, or any other problem area to keep an eye out for?

You'll enjoy the upgrade, I recently up'd from my 01 f4i to a 07 600RR. biggest change for me was the riding position, a bit more aggressive, not so bad solo, but 2 up riding is not as enjoyable to me anyways.

Brandon, yeah...I loved my f4 too!!! but I wanted to move to a fuel injected bike....and had my eyes on the f4i's for a while....but this one came up, and I liked the looks of it....so we will see! I am not sure if it has had exhaust work done.....if it has, how do I know if it has been dyno'd afterward...to get everything set up properly? I read on here that with the FI bikes, any exhaust change means...PC and dyno...is this true? Also...do I just check for the presence of an O2 sensor, to see if its a slip on or full exhaust?

Ok.....so...I went and looked at the bike this morning....and ended up buying it! Other than some cleaning/polish....etc ....(because it has been stored for a little)...and fluid changes...the main thing I wanna do is raise it back to stock height! (I just don't get what people think is so great about lowered bikes!) Anyway, does anyone have advise on where to get a stock rear link...for reasonable $...and maybe a kickstand?

Ebay. They're simplistic parts so you won't have to worry about whether they work or not.
