noob move
Well i just installed my new tire on bike, put the back whell back on, went to leave my house there is a bit of a corner infront of my house, was taking it easy doing about 10 mph, rolled throttle on just a bit not much at all and bye bye *** end, down she went! all i broke was the right mirror, and crached up the gay flame job, so i have a good excuse to paint it, i think its just going flat black for now!...what a day Friday the 13th!

Ouch man. I think every noob has made that same mistake. Luckily i was only going about 20 and stomped my foot on the ground to stop it. Foot bounced back into the fairing on the right side but a bruise is better than a broken bike. Go to streetfire.net and look up the video of the host of pinks doing the same thing. You won't feel so bad

RE: noob move
yea that sucks but didnt the people that putthe tireon the bike make you sign a waiver stating that you should be easy on the tire the first 100 mi. i know that when i take mine in they make me sign that stupid waiver every time...but at least it is an easy lesson learned instead of a hard one....glad to see you are ok!

No i dont have to sign any waiver, i have been deeling with these guys my whole life, and my dad used to race with the owner of the shop. lol it was my stupidity, i should have known better. Im the one warning all my friends of that when they get new tires. Oh well **** happends..lol all i got is a sore *** and a bit of rash on my right knee. And yes it could have been worse.

RE: noob move
one thing i always do when i get a new tire put on... light it up and go side to side, screw takin it easy for 100 miles whenever i leave i wanna get on it and dont have time to baby it for 100 miles. next time light it up and go side to side for a whole second and that will get rid of the 100 mile rule and will get the tire nice, warm, and sticky!
