Hey all, this guy that i know has a 04 CBR 600RR. I know nothing about bikes very new to this and i would like some opinions. It was layed down the first year he had it and fixed all up. New Clutch and motor overhaul (pistons, crank, and all the others). And hasnt been driven since. The guy is asking $6500 CDN ... good deal or no ?

And also can someone possibley post up some sites for parts and accessories so i can check things out and options i can work with? Thanks.

 

Why would he need to do a full overhaul on a bike with less than 3 years?!!?
How many miles does it have? If it is a low mileage bike, the overhaul sounds fishy to me...
Need more info to be able to give you an honest assesment, as far as price... Check Craigslist, and other similar sites, and see for how much are similar bikes going for in your area. That's the only way to know if the price is fair.
