RE: Looking for Paint
If you do it right it's not a "buy a can of paint and slap it on" kind of thing and just going by the paint code won't give you a perfect match all the time either, especially with the Pearl Yellow. The yellow is made by a company named Glasarith who makes paints for Mercedes & BMW and it's pretty expensive...
The paint process is white base, yellow, then clear and if you check inside your fairings, you can see the white base spray over.

RE: Looking for Paint
Thats about the same as I have found. I intend to let a pro do my lower fairing and I have found out that orieleys ( and auto parts store in the south don't know if you have one.) will match paint and put it in a shaker can. I think I'll go with that to do the wheels. they wont bee seen enough to warrant 1000.00 in paint and work i think just a close match will be fine on those. or maybe not anyone painted their wheels how close did you have to match the paint.
btw i think i have picked the most difficult paint on a bike to match pearl yellow what was I thinking......Oh ya i remember YELLOW IS THE BEST..LOL
