Well if you need any help or have questions let me know, cause I can surely say that I learned from my mistakes the first time around.

So much so, that I'm actually going to redo the entire thing when I get some new pinstriping tape. It looks good now, but I'm **** retentive and I will notice the few things about it that bother me everytime I look at the bike unless I do this right. I spent 8 hours the first time around, but I expect it to go much faster now.

 

how easy is that tape to form?

Yeah, I'm gonna stripe the rims, but I'm going to do it manually with my excess tape. There is a great write-up in the How-To forum on doing this.

Thanks to everybody for the props though! I will get full multi-angle pictures posted in the coming month, but right now I'm in the process of re-striping the entire bike. There are a few parts that bother me and I learned some valuable lessons the first time around, so I decided to just start from scratch because I'm **** retentive like that.

I agree with the powdercoating suggestions...this is on my list for next year. All that's really left this year is to mesh the fairing vents, stripe the rims, and maybe make some custom pinstriping design on the tail.
