Fellas..I am hoping for a prayer on this one....
I have an 07 CBR600 RR - Last week after an oil change my oil pan drain plug came out while riding..of course the oil went everywhere and the bike shut off on me. I found a new drain plug and refilled the oil. Bike ran great for the next 2 days, but then this morning on the way to work it shut down on me!!! I was cruising along and then began hearing a "knocking" type sound. About 3 minues later, the bike died.

I tried to crank the bike, but it won't even crank or turn over!! Is my engine locked? Is there any help for besides a new engine???? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sorry to hear that man, but it doesn't sound very good. You may need to start the inspection process now. Keep us posted.

 

Sounds bad. Probably new engine. did you do the oil change or was it a dealer? If it was a dealer, I'd be on my way right now.

 

sounds like a bearing locked up in the motor

 

try to put it in a higher gear(5, 6)(not trying to start it) and push it to see if the parts inside it the engine move, if is the stuff is moving/rolling you might not need a new engine, if doesnt... sorry

 

If your engine seized, which by all accounts it sure sounds like it, then it is toast. RIP engine.
