So I went over my boys house and we started wrenching and then all of a sudden my bike was in pieces and before you know it, we had the inverted forks I got on my '04 600RR... here's some pics I took. They are not top quality, I was just snapping pics with greasy hands and wanting to keep working, but there are some good ones. I think I had the camera on the wrong settings at times but whatever, it gives you the idea of what went down last night. I must say, the bike looks sweet with this front end.

I know it's dirty, I need to give it the full clean down before getting put away for the winter.

I won't be able to ride again until the spring probably, and it's just my luck that I took my bike apart Fri night and today was like 70 here, probably be the last day to ride around these parts...

Plus I am waiting for my new front pads to come in and I have to get a mount for the steering damper to be useful, so even though we got most of the work done the bike is not able to be ridden right now anyways.

 

Anybody got any advice on how to PC the gas cap? I also need a 2005 mount for a Scotts Steering Damper...if you see one for sale or know how I can get one, please let me know.
