I can tell you that I used the 05 axle so I used the spacers that came with that axle. The axles are supposed to be the same, but I can tell you that the two axles I had were not the same and the 04 one did not work and I had to use the 05 one. Even on the fiche, they are listed as the same, but the 05 one is listed cheaper than the 04 one, so are they different? I can tell you, that when I did the swap, I needed the 05 axle and 05 spacers to get it done and I'm not really sure as to the specifics as to how they differ.

i can now confirm this i have done the swap

i have used 06 forks and lower upper triple
the front axel and spacers are the same you will need to get 06 or 08 bars though i have used woodcraft high riser bars which are the same as 08 bars i've also used 08 calipers and bolts and radial master cylinder as they are lighter, i've fitted hel braided lines but the standard one of the 04 works

i've shaved about 6kg off the bike

will post pics tomorrow

I was considering using 08 calipers but that's on hold for now. I also have a radial master off an 07 to put on soon, which would require me to buy a new Pazzo front brake lever to match what I already have, again on hold for now but on the futures list.

i forgot to add that you'll need to shave off a little from the intake covers as the bottom triple pinch bolts rub as you go full lock
