I just bought a 2003 RR on ebay which is in-state, I pick it up tomorrow! I dont have my license yet, but I registered last week for a MSF basic rider course for this coming weekend.

The bike has 2000 miles on it and a two brothers carbon fiber exhaust...with 2k miles that would qualify me out of the break in period right? Should I do anything else to it this early in the milage?

sweet rides, both of them. I love the WRX, very nice. The 03 looks very nice and clean, except for the cannon under the seat. Just kidding.

 

Nice RR, don't lay it down doing the figure 8's in the little box.

 

Sharp looking bike. Wise move taking the class. You're lucky that you can get into a class so quickly. In Ohio all the classes for the year are filled by the end of spring. Make sure you get a good helmet and all the right riding gear.

I paid $5950 for it locally...the bike has been great by the way!
