how do i adjust rear suspension without tool??

Default how do i adjust rear suspension without tool??

so got my cbr second hand and the guy did not include the tool to adjust the preload on rear suspension. any other ways to do this without the honda tool. also getting new tire put on a dealer, you think they would charge me to adjust it. just let me no what you guys think. i would like to adjust it asap and my appointment isnt for over a week. thanks

If they have the two rings you can use a screwdriver and a hammer to knock them loose, otherwise you need the tool.

the ring is alum on the rr, a hammer n screwdriver can easily damage it. I may have a spare one at my dads. Will let you know tomorrow if I do or not. Price??? cost of shipping it to you.

Theres ebay too, I ordered a whole tool kit for less than $30.

You aren't going to break the ring by hitting it, it won't be pretty but it'll do exactly what you want.

i used wd40 some pliers and some muscle. i have it on seven with all the other dampers turned all the way to tight. its not some comfortable but helps my wheelie and espicially at high speeds. do you guys no any good settings for the suspension?
