I was wondering does your 06CBR1000RR's come with a full tool kit.. My 07 only came with about four items..a screwdriver + handle, allen wrench, plastic case, some grey foam, and thats pretty much it..
Shoot it doesnt even come with a spanner...I want to adjust my suspension settings. I called my dealer and they figured, Honda wants you to go thru them...instead of doing your own simple maintainance. If I want the full kit I got to purchase it...Sounds pretty skimpy..
to the ones who bought an 07 what tools came with yours..

cool. I guess the 04 05s come with it then, My dealer says the 06 came with them though....

 

My roll-away has all the tools I need in it. Don't rely on Honda to provide your tools. Buy quality, and use them properly.

 

I got boned too!!!!!!! i have an 07 with **** i can buy from toys 'r 'us!!! My 954 came with EVERYTHING!

My 06 F4i didn't come with ANY tools. I thought this was a mistake and of course when I asked my local dealer (didn't buy the bike from them), they told me I should have received a full tool kit. I called American Honda and was told that for 06 and newer, Honda was only including enough tools to get to the battery. F4i doesn't need any to get to the battery. I went back to my local dealer and told them since they liked hearing about me missing items from a purchase at another dealer. They acted perplexed. We pulled the seat off one on their floor and no tools were included, then they just acted stupid.

My 06 1000RR (that I bought from my local dealer) came with the basic tools as mentioned above. For my F4i I bought a complete set from a 600RR off ebay for less than 20 bucks. I compared every tool to Honda's parts fische, and they are all the same less one tool, an extra wrench.

 

THIS IS A BUMMER...MAKES ME WANT TO GO SUZUKI FOR ONCE...I CHECKED MY BUDDIES TOOLKIT THAT HE KEEPS WITH HIS BIKE....YEAH I ASKED TO SEE WHAT WAS IN IT...DAMN EVERYTHING.....I DONT EVEN BRING MINES ALONG..

 

Honda's rarely break down ... what's the need for a toolkit ?
i got no room in the trunk to carry mine anyways

 

My buddie works for honda. It was told to him that Honda decided to "scale down" the tool kit since 90% of customers never used the now missing tools. It sucks real bad. But ebay or making friends with the local honda service shop for the spanner and other items. Most shops will have a bunch of them just laying about
