Just to piggy back on this topic, I'm picking up my first bike tomorrow... It's an 07 600RR with 2800 miles. White/silver. FE, flush mounts, sliders, extended fact. warranty. Never dropped, it really is like new. Guy wanted $6800 obo. I'm picking it up for $6500 tomorrow! Seemed like a great deal.

!wow.... great deals galore.... yeah i wish i can sell my f4i privately... but it just ain't cuttin it here in vancouver island...

^^mkp seemed to have a good deal too....

i wonder though... with these low kms 07 bikes.. or any bikes for that matter that's fairly new and low kms... i' would be worried on how the bike was broken in.... (high revin.. or low rpm like the manual says...)

I was against even buying a used bike b/c I was scared of abuse and other things, BUT this one seems ideal. Guys older, has owned several bikes and has another one he's keeping that he rides all the time, the cbr was mostly just to toy around with. He's no unemployed, divorced, several kids, so he's just cleaning out the garage. But from talking with him he's a pretty mature rider and certainly no 'wild man', and judging by the condition it's in I can't imagine that he has given it too much hell. He's even offered to give me some lessons and tips for safe riding lol (he knows this is my first bike).
We'll see tomorrow! Was going to pick it up today but its been raining for 3 days straight including today. Tomorrow its clear but highs in the 30's!! Got about a 30 mile / 45 min ride to get it home... burrr. And no cold-riding gear here [:@]
sorry for clogging up this post...
