the hids are real easy, especially since the cbr's have the rubber behind the bulbs on my zx6rr you have to drill a huge hole in the plastic cap that covers the bulbs to put the hids in. but nice lookin bike

I tore it all off because i want a clean install and Im swapping out turn signals. Better to do it right the first time then to go back and have something fall off when im riding. Plus it takes a whole 3 mins to take it off and then just align it back on. Not really to hard.

so theres alot of splicin and dicin for the installing and how long did it take you i mean im pretty handy so i can put it together.
there is no slicing and dicing. Its just plug and play. Honest installing em is easy, its mounting the ballasts and cleaning up the wires that take a minute or 2

I did a rather lengthy write-up of my HID installation WITHOUT taking off a single fairing........then I also added a bit where I did take off a couple panels to re-mount some stuff. I would check it out if you're planning on installing HID's on your bike.
