Default Cal/Mag and cramps......

Sometimes cramping is nutritional...........calcium allows muscles to relax, magnesium allows them to contract....they (calcium and magnesium) are electrolytes......it would not hurt to go to the health food store and get a good CalMag supplement. It works for me. Drinking a lot of coffee can mess up youir magnesium balance. No guarantees, but it may be worth a try.

Could it be that when you are riding your lower torso is too tense? Years ago I used to work at a Honda dealer and I remember taking out the used super bikes for a spin and my legs would cramp up in the exact same area very fast. In my case it was because I such a new rider I was very cautious and stressed about other vehicles around me so I would tense my legs up so much they would cramp at my hips.

I get similar problems. I am 6' 3" and really have to bend my legs it seems. I get cramps sometimes when I sit to long, really sucks. I get a sore back also. Just part of riding a bike like ours I guess......
