Hey! Go here and check this out!
He just does street riding basically and I thought he might like a suit like this. What do y'all think? They said it would be $270.00.
Should I go for it? Would y'all be happy with it if your chick got this as part of your Christmas gift?

i wouldn't be happy cause i'm all about alpine stars....and i gots all my gear already...haahh...
teknic stuff is decent though...
does he have a jacket already? if he does mostly street riding then you're better off getting him an alpinestars jacket...but if he tracks and canyon carves, then the suit is the way to go.
what does he have or not have? maybe you should sport him some sidi racing boots!!!!!!!
have to know his long term goal in riding...whether track, canyon, or putting around.
as far as icon...well...their stuff isn't made for the track...they don't make anything for the track...and i'm just not sure how you would make something just for the street...but not for the track...since track is where most of the high speed crashes occur...their stuff may entice those who like the 'urban' sportbike look...but as far as those who really like to race/track/canyon carve...nope nope nope...

true--i guess you've got a point. but i mean thats what i bought it for to begin with was for putting around on the street. like i said--my jacket just got its first test last night and held up without a single tear, only a minor scuff on one elbow---**** wish i had it on my knees because they are KILLING ME right now
