Hello. new member here.
Found this place looking for help on my friends 01 f4i but there's some other good stuff to be said.
I will be picking up my brand new 05 600RR tomorrow at 9am! I got the tribal scheme and I can't friggen wait to get it and ride it home.
I'm not new to sportbikes by anymeans and I'm best suited to be on a literbike but I cannot afford ins. on one until next Aug, so I'll be on the 600 until I trade it in for the 1krr.
Great site you all have here. Thanks for being here.

conrats on the new tribal 600rr... that seems to be the choice of bikes here. I also went with the 600 because of insurance, but I'm sticking with the 600. Why do I need to shave 1 or 2 seconds off my red light to red light, and on the highways.... it takes nothing for me to pop up to 120. I'm not sure why I'd ever need a 1000RR.

RE: Hello. new member here.
Thanks for the welcomes gents.
Got the bike this morning and already have 55mi on it just from going home on it and taking it in to work (45mi commute one way).
I actually am coming down in size in sportbikes to this 600. My last sportbike was a 954. Ive riden, and get to ride, many 1000's and the power, performance, and shift points are more my style then running a higher rpm motor such as this bike. So when the time is right and my insurance rates go down I will definately be trading in this baby for it's bigger sister. for me there's nothing like the raw power of a liter bike.
I also ride my friends turbo zrx at times and that puppy is way wicked. putting out 250rwhp and is a real gas to take for a scoot. you know you are riding something with power when you roll on the throttle at 160 and the front goes right up like a first gear power wheelie would be on a 1krr.
I hit up the track whenever I can and that's where this sweetheart will shine for me I'm sure.
Thanks again for the welcomes.

lol when i lived with my parents i turned our house into the urban trailer. we had my firebird in the driveway plus a totaled 68 mustang that was my brothers. a suburban parked in front of the house and a 89 honda accord parked in the front lawn lol. not to mention we use old jelly jars as cups
