Bike 2003 600rr stock exahaust and everything else.


I just recently purchased a 03 600rr and noticed that it tends to heat up around my feet and mostly my lower leg on the left side and just a bit on the right side. Is this normal, or should I check for something. thanks

It's normal. Your engine vents are right there by your legs. You usually don't notice, but on hotter days, you will notice it sometimes.

 

thanks, i was worried about an exhaust leak which would make me sad and stuff.

i was like oo crap. i go the bike with 6800 miles on it with repsol fairings for 4400.

 

yea especially if you are in city and stop and go because of the lights. thats really when i feel mine because thats also when it raises temp. but alls normal.
