Default guages removal

Hey guys I have to remove/take apart my guages on my 03 600rr to fix one of the buttons. I have a diagram of this but I was wondering is there a way to remove the guages without removing the windscreen and fairing or is this the only way. This is not an urgent fix, just have to do it if I ever want my clock to read the right time again.

Haha so i removed them with the chainsaw today and I just have one problem I cant seem to remember how to put them back together. Hahaha So seriously I guess my only option is to take the whole thing apart.....that will have to wait for a rainy day to get fixed.
