This promo is about the REVIEW of their fairings. Its not a who needs the fairings the most and has the best sob story giveaway. no one wants to hear it. Everyone would like new fairings, whether theirs are old, scratched, cracked, whatever. Weve all got certain expenses that are more important than new fairings for our bikes, which is why im waiting a few months to get mine when ill have the money, since i feel i NEED new fairings because i dont want my bike to be scratched up, but getting a set for free instead would obviously be nice so of course a lot of people are going to enter. Everyone else on here is gonna have the money at some point in the future to fix up their bike so i think its fairly subjective to say who needs it the most since plenty of people arent happy with the physical condition of their bikes and think they need new fairings too. If you say you cant afford it and you dont think youll ever be able to afford it sell your damn bike. If you want new fairings enter the competition. They said theyre picking by random number so your story or condition of your bike doesnt matter, WE ALL HAVE THE SAME CHANCE, so whether you agree with it or not thats how it is. If you win you win, if you dont you dont. Either way we all get the benefit of seeing a review for another fairing company so when the time comes for other people to their fairings they have more information at their disposal before making that purchase. Im certainly gonna read the review of whoever wins since i planned on buying new ones anyway.

I'll agree that everyone has a chance to win. Also, I do agree that everyone should have the opportunity to win even if their bike doesn't really need it. The only concern I would have is if someone won that really didn't need the set, would just sell them anyway and the people who did really want/need them would be on s*$t street. All I'm saying is it would suck to see someone win that really didnt need it is all. Who ever wins you are cool in my book regardless if you need them or not.

Plus, the OP did say this "For me to pick a winner you have to post a picture your bike in this thread that is in need of a new fairing kit." and that is a straight quote. So we aren't wrong to get upset about people posting that dont really need it. Oh well good luck to all.

right, which is why i personally agree with what trey said and that it should go to a contributing cbrf member instead of just a person that came on here to enter this contest to help prevent that, and itd be a nice way for a cbrf member to get something back. And yeah i agree it is always nice to see someone with a wrecked bike get it back together and riding again but all these people saying they need new fairings and cant afford them and people saying some of these other members are less deserving than others is starting to turn something that started out as a nice opportunity into a bunch of negativity and annoying whiney "woe is me" posts. Im a student, ive got bills to pay, so does everyone else. Anyone can make a case and give reasons for why they need new fairings. Sure some of these bikes are obviously in way worse condition than others but i dont really think its up to us to tell someone they dont need them and should be excluded from this. This isnt directed towards you, just in general, but this is probably gonna get deleted soon anyway so it wont even matter.

To the Motorcycle Fairing R Us people..... "To get free stuff" should be like "To sell stuff." Minimum amount of participation on SEABARF required(if you don't know what SEABARF is, you shouldn't be participating). This prevents "Member since MAR 2012" being a leecher and never putting back into the forum. YOU need to decide who gets the free fairings, a POLL/VOTE would be prejudice. "I wouldn't vote for junior member" or "what did HE do for us??"" would be said.

I have to agree wih you but at the same time it would limit the people who can enter. In the end it'll be up to the seller(giver) and I just hope he gets his review. I'd hate to see someone screw him over but I'm sure he has an agreement set up since he is a legit buisness.

I know I'm not on here regularly but after going through the thread I did find it a bit funny to see some people who joined specifically for this contest. Just seems as if it wasn't for it, they wouldn't be here. Maybe I'm wrong but it sure looks that way.

The OP did post that the Giveaway is also on another forum (Fireblade). So he is giving us a chance to win twice. He also stated that we should head on over there register and see if we can win both free sets. So in actuality he doesnt care who wins as long as they need new fairings.

To the Motorcycle Fairing R Us people, have you decided how you are going to choose a "winner?" I am just curious and anxious to see who is going to win this thing, regardless of which forum affiliation/motorcycle they ride/modus operandi. SinCaliRider.... I am glad that we are looking in the same direction. This is also a GRAND opportunity for the forum to recruit new members, I understand that, but out of respect and in fairness in good "sportsmanship" I will remain on SEABARF until I get deployed. Carry-on.

Default Giving it a shot

Im going to give this my best shot here. My name is Will from Wyoming, just got a 2002 F4i. It was a stunt bike that im transforming back to its original beauty. Its a great running machine but needs a face lift. BAD. All the fairings I have are cracked in many spots and covered in rhino lining. Not really sure why rhino lining. Im trying to turn it back all stock and nothing will help more than new fairings. Even if I dont win this, new fairings are on the list. I have looked at many fairing company's and yet to make a decision. I believe there are a few guys here that are deserving and will report on how great these plastics are. My freinds and I are patiently waiting to see what this company has to offer. Thanks got looking guys and girls. Ok... I can't post pic's. If somebody would get them from me maybe you could try. Please email me tfocus9@gmail.com.
