Default frame sliders and sprockets

what exatly are frame sliders for? and second i have been thinking about getting a chain and sprocket kit for drag racing, you know like big in the front for rast outta the hole or something? any kit recomendations

frame sliders are plastic cyclinders that protect most of ur fairings from cracking when it drops..but if ur gonna be drag i suggest getting a crash cage..it will protect ur motor and fairings

I'd suggest a different bike for drag racing too, our bike is probably one of the worst choices to go fast in a straight line...now twisties are another story!

oh thanks, well if i wast just plannin on playin at the strip but if i shouldnt get a drag kit then what sprocket kit should i get for top end speed then, i am not exactly shure about all the specs on that stuff.

For take offs, dropping a tooth in the front and/or adding to the back is what you are looking for. This will kill a some of your top end speed and your speedo will be off a lot, but for a 1/8 or 1/4 mile drag.... you will not have the time/distance to reach top speed. I plan on changing my set from the stock 16/43 to a 15/43. That'll be enough take off for me and hopefully doesn't kill the top speed. I need to research the speedo healer a little more before I feel comfortable about making the changes.
