I recently rebuilt a set of 05 forks. New seals and fluid. It calls for ss55 10w honda oil. All they had at the shop was ss8 honda oil 10w. I researched a little and found they are both same weight and that the ss8 is just a older version of the ss55 and is used on standard forks. Anyone have any knowledge on this? I didn't have a chance to get what it called for because I'm in a hurry and have track day coming this weekend. Just want to make sure ill be ok. Ill be runnin in expert class and don't want to worry bout pushing the bike
