Default FI light on HELP

The past two days after i start my bike the FI light stays on for about a minute then goes off. It also seems to run a little rough for a couple minutes when its cold, but the light comes on now everytime i start it regardless if it already warm or not. What does this light mean and is there any thing i should look into? Also i ride fairly normal get on it every once and a while and its only getting 30mpg. Thanks for any help.

If it's an 07, don't we have a one year unlimited mileage warranty? Take it to the dealer, why try and figure it out by yourself, should be covered.

Don't ride it until you find out what it is.

The MIL light only comes on if there is a problem with the fuel-injection, high-coolant temperature, or low oil pressure. But usually, the low oil icon will appear along with the MIL light, so if that's not lit up too, then it's probably something with the fuel-injection system.

I agree with above. Not worth being cheap here, take it to a shop, get it looked at. I guess you could pull the fuse and hope doesn't come back on.
