FE and the licence plate angle

why on all the FE kits i see the license plate is close to facing the ground??? why are they not vertical??? the one i got is made from plastic so i am ganna heat it up a little and bend it to vertical.

Prolly so they dont hit the hugger. Mine was vertial until it hit my hugger a few times now its slanted a little.

so yea it was so it dont hit. i dry fit it and got on the bike backwards and it was like 1 inch from tuching. i put it back to the other angle. i dont like it tho.
