ok, title says it all.

I would like to hear some of everybodys ideas on what i can do in order to shine some light on my plate. My plate is on the right rear axel, so that is where i need the light to go.

I was thinking of some led lights but that just seems sloppy.

 

I have an axel mount too and am expecting the same crap this season. haven't looked into it yet

 

they already made me turn it the right way. it was vertical but now its horizontal.

wow, what part of ohio? I was born and raised in Toledo. Anyhow, i moved to orlando, florida in august. a group of 8 bike cops had a speed trap on a side road with 4 officers on there knees with radar guns stopped me for no headlights (which for some reason stopped working while i was rideing), no lights on the plate, and plate was verticle not horazontle. $74 ticket if i do not fix and 42 if i do. i have 30 days to fix everything. if i do not fix it i get 2 points on my license and have to pay the whole $74 instead of 42 + inspection fee. bastards.


but the funny thing is, the cop who gave me the ticket had that white sunblock crap all over his nose. like something out of a 1980's cop movie.

i was looking at those. but im not sure it would work right. see, my axel plate holder is curved so if i buy one of those it needs to be able to bend around it ok.

 

what about the light in bolts down at the bottom of the page? about the framed lights you should call and see if it can be bent.

 

good idea, ill have to call them up and see if it can be bent. i could use the light bolts.. but only as a last resort.

 

A buddy of mine used the light in bolts to mount the plate and cut a slot in it with a dremel directing the opening at the plate and he now has lights since in Texas they will nail you for it.
