F4i vs RR experience
#11
Everyone - thanks for the replies!
I was able to sell my F4i for what I thought was a really good price -- but got blindsided by some South Carolina property taxes on our other vehicles this month (I'm not from SC, so it was a surprise). Anyway, I decided to use the $ to pay off those taxes and all of my credit card debt, and than in November buy a newer RR than I could afford now. It will suck going a few months without a bike, but I think in the long run I will be happier.
Now, I just got to decide which late model year will be the best for the RR. 2007? 8? 9? What about the '09 ZX-6??? Choices!!
I'll be fequenting the boards between now and then, but can't wait for November!
Thanks again for all the replies!

I had 2 f4's before owning an RR and you can deffinetly tell the diffrence. I like it that the trottle responce is faster and its got allot more torque in all gears even if u in sixth and gun it u can feel it.. defenetly RR is noticeble. I would have to say that f4i is more comfy to ride butif u get an Corbin seat u be golden

Everone is right. Depending on your riding style. the f4i is better for longer less agressive riding. The rr is better for agressive riding, period. So it all depends on your riding. Good luck and ride safe

i rode an 07 600rr. and i rode it aggressive so i cant comment on comfort... but it was truly a beast compared to an f4i.
the 03 600rr... i drove for a half hour. and was disappointed. honestly.
id rather have a f4i over a 03 600rr.
my rating scale is judged mostly by fun factor.
09 zx6rs are supposed to be very beastly.

For a little insight into your zx-6r option....
My buddy has an 07 zx-6r and I hate it... It is obviously fast, and handles well but if you like torque like me than its no good. There is very little noticable torque and it is far from comfortable. Stick with Honda.
And I've ridden a brand new '07 600rr before and it made me very sad that I wasn't riding it to my house... I love my F4i but I would give it up for an RR in a heartbeat.
