Default Electrical problem please help

Hey guys, my friend has an 06 600rr, he went out to the gym, after coming back (1 hour or so) he tried starting his bike and it wouldn't even turn the lights on. After jump starting it it would not keep idling however would run on higher rpms. Checked the battery it is fine, checked the 30A fuse on the solenoid it is fine also.
If you turn the key on and press start button it will light up the dash and neutral light for a second.
If any one have any Idea where to start i greatly appreciate it

the next thing i would check is the harness connectors and grounding points. unplug em one by one and check for corrosion loose connections ect. attempt to start after each plug that way if that is the prob you'll know which one to watch out for. after being jumped (then disconnected)does it attempt to start? make sure to check the grounding point. after reading the post again im leaning a little more towards a loose ground.

the bikes wiring harness. not any part in particular but youll be able to find 3-5 main plugs in it. and no i dont have a clue how many ground points your bike has. they arent hard to notice though just wires running to engine case or frame but i would check the main one first. the one your batt neg goes to. im suprised no RR guys have any input for you yet.
