Dumb air-filter question
Ok so I am sold on the K&N deal. But I was reading and they say you should really get a powercommander if you run a mod pipe and a K&N filter. Realizing that she will be breathing better I am curious. Do I need one for the filter or can I wait on that expense...
I'm running with just a K&N filter right now. I noticed a difference in sound, not performance yet. I replaced the filter because it was time to change it. When I decide on what to do about the exhaust, I'll add the exhaust and pc III. Check out some of the sites, they offer a combo kit including the exhaust and the pc III already set for your bike.
did that answer your question?
you can wait on the expense and do the exhaust and pc III together.
filter change will be fine without pc III, i've put about 3000 miles on mine this way.

You don`t NEED the pc3 for an K&N filter and Slip on, the bike will run fine without. But it will run better if you get a PC3 adn get it set up on a dyno, thats when the real difference is felt.
I hear everyone talk about the dyno, but being a noob I have never needed a dyno before. what is an average cost for that kind of thing?
And is Anubis a reference to the egypt God (son of Ra) or is it a reference to Stargate? Just curious.
