I would def check out state farm. They insure your motorcycle based on displacement and not what catagory of bike it is.

Nice pick-up with the RR. how much did u get it for? too bad u sold the Ducati but i heard they are a pain to maintain. (ha that rhymes!)
Thanks, it's an 03, paid $5400 for it. I realize I offered too much...but i was willing to do so because it is clean and not modded (i want to mod it myself).

yeah, the 748 needs a valve clearance check every 6k. new timing belt every 2 years or 12k.
then there is the whole rocker issue that may need re-plating at any time. $50 to re-plate...and there are 16 rockers in the engine.

i agree with checking state farm i pay 800 a year for full coverage, but my driving record isn't the best either

The rear tire is about done - nice and squared off.

A new rear tire will really wake up the handling on the bike - those PP tires make the RR's just about fall into the turns.

dude.....but the duke is still way ahead of its time, the only problem with them is the cafe racer attitude the company (short of their race team) .....theyre all whacked out on mushrooms if you ask me....
