how low do you have to get the bike to drag your peg. ive had this thing down pretty f@cking low and still havnt hit peg. does anyone have a picture of a bike showing how low it has to be before the peg drags?

In my avatar pic I am not dragging peg; dragging peg (or "hard parts") is generally not a good thing. Granted, stock pegs will drag before aftermarket rearsets, and you can force the bike down with bad body position and make the peg or its feeler drag.

Usually dragging pegs goes along with the conversations about "chicken strips". If you're dragging pegs or trying to get rid of your strips, you're riding position is all wrong. You're not supposed to come close to either.

yeah totally agree, last yr was getting my strips down real low, then started to ride with a friend who does track days, strips came back up a lot but i could take a turn faster and more confidently, although there is definitely a point where you can just tell the guy is not leaning the bike at all lol

Is there a particular reason you aim to drag your pegs?
