Most of that is ok above is ok - BUT YOU DONT NEED TO SHIFT INTO FIRST GEAR WHEN COMING TO A STOP - IN FACT ITS PRETTY STUPID - ITS WEAR ON THE TRANS YOU DONT NEED TO PUT ON IT AND W/O A SLIPPER CLUTCH YOU NEED TO BE TRAVELING PRETTY SLOW, WHICH IN THAT CASE YOUR BREAK IS FINE -

first gear is meant to go to second....not 2-1 - you dont need to downshift through EVERY GEAR all the way down to 1 like that - thats what brakes are for @ 8mph.

seriously...anyone who drives a manual car/bike will tell you ....who the fu** dowshifts into 1st while moving???? STUPID

 

i downshift to first while moving quite often. does that make me stupid? methinks no.

 

same here, i downshift to First quite often when I know the redlight will stay red when I come to a complete stop...boths hands on Clutch and Front brake, right leg on Rear Brake and Left leg slowly downshifting.
