Default Disk Lock + Alarm

The Xena disk lack sounds an alarm. Has anybody had experience with other brands or any comments on Xena?

i don't care if the disk lock shoots off fireworks when its tripped.....disc locks are worthless. 1 out of 100 bikes is stolen by hot wire and riding it off.....99 out of 100 are stolen by 2 guys picking your bike up and throwing it into a truck bed (a 15 second ordeal). save your 50 bucks on the disc lock and go buy a sturdy chain and lock it to something heavy

let us know when you get that lock and give us the directions to where you park your bike. we will drop by and then tell you whether that lock is worth the money.

They are ok as a secondary form of security, but not solely IMO. I have a chain, a Internatrix alarm, Comp insurance.

Anyone know the difference between the other xena models? Some seem cheap and some are expensive. I imagine the key might be better, maybe the sound is louder, but not sure.
