Hi, new to forum. Can anyone help me with derestricting a UK spec 600rr. I have removed the metal bracket which restricts the throttle to about one third turn. When the bike is in neutral she will rev past 7000 rpm, however on the road she just splutters and coughs at about 7000 - 8000 rpm. Where is the other restricter? It is an '05 bike and was restricted by a dealer.

mabey electronic? that realy does suck, are dealers required to restrict them?
