Damp wet spots - re clean the chain?
Hey guys, I spent a vigorous 4 hours on a bike clean today, (included cleaning and re-lubing the chain) and boy nothing beats the feeling of a clean bike!
Well I just got back from a couple hours ride for sunset, when on the way home there was a slight damp spot in the road, I slowed down since there was a stop light a few hundred feet ahead, and just coasted through @ 15-20 mph somewhere between there. Well my question is, should I reclean my whole chain from that 1 damp spot? Or is alright? I know there's some controversy on when and what amount of water is acceptable or not, but then I also know there's people who won't let 1 drop of water get on a chain without a whole re-clean.
So where/when do you draw the line on when to clean your chain because of water?
