just when i thought i understood..... i checked out the vortex sliders and i'm not that happy with the look of it, but i'm going to get them anyway. the pucks are alot cheaper than the fancy plastic. i had a question though, when i was searching around i clicked on a set of vortex rear sets. wow they are pricey for just a piece of fabed metal. i know there are some brands that are even more. hard to believe.

i need a new shifter anyway, is it a good idea to buy a kit of rear sets? what comes with them? i'm assuming the right side has a complete new brake pedal also right? one of the issues i've had with my current stock shifter is i needed a hair more room with it.i have big feet. it was a minor thing but, i wouldn't have minded alittle more toe room. i have read that some of the shifters are adjustable. also, one of the websites i looked at said, they were reversible. why would you want that?

I agree. I don't like the look of frame sliders, swing arm sliders, etc. My bike has none. I prefer the clean look. Also, that's what insurance is for. If it gets dropped. It's covered.

I went with the R&G's for frame sliders, and shogun swingarm spools.

R&G's I put on my bike can be seen ==>HERE<==
