corbon seats do not have more padding. take it from someone who has one. it is different kind of foam. YES they are lower. go to corbons web site and all you have to do is call there customer service number and they will tell you how much lower it will be. i have owned several corbon seats and they do lower the seat height

 

i have a corbin on my RR and you do sit higher, not by much maybe an inch but you DO sit higher

 

I noticed that cbr_racin123 has an f4i maybe it is different from the rr. I still can't see how the corbin seat could be any thinner than the rr seat.
