Default corbin seats ?

I have been considering a Corbin seat for my 93. Are there any others I should look at first? Are these aftermarket seats much better than the stock one??

had one - didnt like it as it changed the riding position - sat lower making knees bend more. do search for previous reviews. it was better for my azz but harder on my back and shoulders. seating position was lower and further from handle bars. i dold mine and went back to stock seat.

Had Corbin. Nice but heavy. Also look at Sergent.

Corbin fits the bike well, changes the ergonomics considerably, and is really hard. The first two factors are fine by me. The third, though isn't. Despite advertised promises that the seat molds itself to your bottom, it doesn't seem to have done that for me. But maybe I'm expecting too much in the way of comfort. Check out Sargent, they use softer (or more) foam and seem more comfortable. Just my opinion. Others may feel differently.

Default Corbin

I have a Corbin gunfighter and lady. I got it so the wife could come along on occasion...its the only way I get to keep my bike! It's great for long hauls because it sits you backward and off your b*lls. However, the fuel petock doesn't sit flush with the Corbin, so you have to build it out to make it look right. This has caused problems for me as the petock snapped off. As above, it is indeed very heavy. At least twice that of the stock seat. I will say that it is very good quality and they did a nice job matching the colors. Have a look at my album and see for yourself. You'll need your stock seat if you want to really rip it up. My advice is if you don't have a passenger, save your money.
