Hey i just bought a cbr but im like on my tippy toes. I was wondering if a corbin seat will bring me down a little maybe an inch? and i was wondering if it is comfortable? thanks for your help

 

My guess would be "no". In fact, you might get the opposite result. Corbin seats are designed for more comfort and have more material in the seat, which would likely actually add some heighth.

 

The Corbin seat will raise your overall ride height.

 

The corbon seat does not raise your heigth. Yes they are lower then your stock seat.

 

Looking at the picture of a corbin seat it is higher. It has more padding for comfort so why wouldn't it be higher?

 

The stock seat on the 600RR cant get any lower... the damn thing is a plank. The Corbin will raise your height.

 

interesting argument. i'd like to hear from someone who actually has the corbin on his/her RR! i've read that it LOWERS the seat height but i agree with you guys... looking at the corbin looks thicker therefore it would raise the seat height.

and yes... the stock seat is a PLANK. i just did a 500 mile trip on my bike and i was sore!

 

Ive got on on the way.It seems it a custom order...so i have to wait until the 17 of May to get it.oh well..ill keep yall in the loop when i do get it.

 

I think the only way you could get the seat lower would be to drill a couple holes in a credit card and use that as a seat
