DONT BUY FROM A DEALERSHIP.....look around for a used one and look hard first. The dealership put it in your butt so hard when they are dobe with all the taxes bs....my buddy bought a brand new bike from a dealership for 7600 and when they were done with everything he paid 10300 total.

Glad you found one, but I really can't believe how much they wanted for the 07, I picked up my 08 marked down to $7999.

And as for the buying from the dealership thing, you technically pay the same taxes on buying from a private party (in the rare event someone actually lists the full purchase price haha).

I was out the door for 9k on mine and thats buying the extended 5yr warrenty and all taxes and fee's.

Mr2drew, you just must have far superior negotiating skills than most people or maybe you're just prettier than most people and the dealership just loves having you around. Either way, most people dont get deals like that from a dealership.(edit: I just read where you traded your old bike in on the new one) There is always another customer around the corner if you're not willing to pay up and they know it......... Good luck Raptorfuel, hope you get the bike you want.........

the 9k was before my trade in, and I didn't really negotiate anything. I knew my dealership was one of the better ones out there but I guess I just didn't realise by how much. I was out OTD for 7 with the trade...

An RR is a badass bike no doubt! but dude from the sound of your tone not sure bout even gettin a bike, havnin like 5 months to ride it, why dont you get a used 600cc bike for 3-4 grand. Ride it for a few years and if it grows on you then go get and RR or F4i
