Default Cleaning Rear Sprocket - what to use?

i've been experimenting with different degreasers, cleaners and detergents, but can't figure out a good one. what are you guys using?

i may be wrong but i always heard not to use anything that would take the grease out of your chain. hell i really dont know. maybe i shouldnt have tried to answer that. oh well. just try an old rag. that sounds good

Mine was covered in grime and grease so I took it off the bike and sprayed it down with brake cleaner. If its off the bike all you have to watch is not to get any brake cleaner on the middle of the sprocket. It also dries really damn quick so you don't have to worry about it destorying your chain once you put it back on.

anything really abrasive scares me because i don't want to damage my paint on the bike, wheels, plastic...etc.

Find you some chain cleaner stuff. The stuff im using cleans it really easily. I got mine at the dealership, i dont know what its called off hand.

Kerosene. I use that to clean both the chain and sprocket.
