Changing skins

RE: Changing skins
I just go out with the street body and tape up the lights. Risky and possibly costly, but I've been lucky so far. When it takes me over 20 minutes just to get my damned tank cover back on after replacing the air filter, I could only imagine how long it would take to put on and line up all the plastics.
But I guess you could get that racework that is one piece (midfairings and belly pan for both sides are all 1 piece) I believe that'll bolt right up to your stock front fairing. That would probably be a smart idea. Also, forgetting the tail too, but that takes little time to change out.

RE: Changing skins
my 1000rr was a dual duty bike before i bought the 600 as a track only
i would switch to track skins before every ride.
track plastics are good insurance to make sure your pretty shiny ones dont get totalled.
for about 500 bucks you can get a kit from eracing that replaces every piece. you technically dont even have to paint them
switching them out took about 30 mins
but when going to the track its a good idea to take all the plastics off and and check everything anyway.
