cbr rr 600 (2003) led flasher relay HEEEELP
hi there,
i have a 2003, honda cbr rr 600.
I have had some led indicators put on the back and front. My garage has told me they wont flash (and they dont) unless i get a "four pin flasher relay for LED indicators". I have looked everywhere and can only find, 1, 2, 3 pins. PLEASE can someone help. as i'm very lost
I have been trying for ages and am getting so frustrated.
thanks,
Ed

You can't replace the flasher relay on 600RR's. Just go to Autozone or Checker's and get a pair of LED load resistors and wire them in as per instructions. You'll get the "fast blink" if you wire one resistor per side. If you put a resistor on each signal, you'll get the stock blink rate back.

I recomend hard wiring a Flasher Relay instead of using resistors. here is a link on how do it.

^^ GREAT LINK, But he took the bike to a shop to get the signals installed, so I doubt he would want to dive knee deep into taking apart the bike, and cutting into main harness on his meter cluster. But either way, that's a great write up and great link. Good find.
On a side note, 07/08 600RR's do not need any sort of resistors for the "fast blink". LED signals with work just fine on the 07/08's without resistors, unless you want to retain the slower stock blink, then you have to wire in 4 resistors (1 per signal)........with Rizoma's anyway.
