I'd put it inside anyways. Tell her to deal with it for a few months or it's going to freeze and maybe then you'll have to spend more money to fix it come riding season.

How often does she go into the basement? Just do it man!!

[sm=bicker.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif] LOL, prob how it would go. Acutally it would prob be difficult to bring her in, just the way my house is designed. Bungalow w a "straight" in approach would be a lot easier.
